The WCS Apex 38 disc wheelset consists of 38mm high monocoque carbon rims made by Ritcheys own manufacturing process. The tubeless rim bed allows high volume tires to roll great on any road, gravel or cross track. This makes the Apex perfect for cyclocross use as well as for daily racing Bike rides. Heat-resistant plastics together with a resin compound ensure optimised stability of the brake surface. Ritcheys Phantom hubs combine lightness with optimum weight reduction. The combined advantages of normal spokes and straight-pull spokes mean that the hubs do not have a flange, which saves weight but leaves no disadvantages when it comes to stiffness. The rear wheel hub features premium quality sealed bearings and Ritchey's patented 6 pawl, 12-point microclutch engagement system.
